  • No contaban con mi astucia !!!
Rondo  Marbury Pruitt
Ray    House   Giddens
Pierce Nocioni Walker
Garnett Powe   My shoes
Perk    Smith  My baby sister

P.S. Nocioni and Smith play good ball together in chicago too..

nocioni can attach the basket too
his slashing is underrated

I don't believe this though: Nocioni's contract goes for the next 4 seasons. Not signing Posey and now eating Nocioni's contract would be weird.
Agreed -- Not convinced Danny is willing to take that contract.
Its situatonal. he can bee a trade chip later...
A Super Scal.
I didn't realize his contract was like that.

"Super Scal"? I don't see much of a parallel to Scal, but I'm not one to lump all white players together. Nocioni is a bad@@@ and has a lot more he can do on offense.

i am talking contract as trade chip wise

Nocioni's not white, he's foreign.

Scal sucks, Baby sucks, O'Bryant is a joke and Tony is hurt.

Trade those 4 for anyone with a pulse and I'm fine with it.

tony is the intersting thing in this "rumor" of ford's.

Your telling me they are willing to essentialy value tony as a piece of a trade when they could have had him, liek anyone else for a song and a dance during the summer, but now that he has yet another injury, its peaked there intrest?

This would be heavily dependant on follow-up moves from the Celtics. Can Noccioni play some PF to spread the floor there? Will we be able to land Joe Smith or someone like him?

I like Noccioni though.

Agreed.  This would be easier for the Celtics if they could move Powe instead, because if we don't get Joe Smith or another big we are screwed because we have no one on the bench who could guard the real bigs, which Baby has been able to do on most nights.

but they'll probably want to move nocioni's contract...what didn't make sense months ago suddenly does today.  it's the nature of professional sports (which means it makes no sense at all...).  :)

Ridiculous.  With BBD and O'Bryant gone, they get even smaller. Plus the Celtics are stuck with a 40 million-dollar obligation through 2013 for a guy who wasn't good enough to start for the hapless Bulls?

This deal is a Geoff Petrie wet dream, that's all.

Well, wasn't the issue with Posey's contract the value, not the length?

Nocioni ought to still be productive in the last non-option year of his deal. Posey, not so much.

No, I think it was the length, but anyway, Nocioni's contract is way bigger than Posey's, like some 5 million dollars. Nocioni is 29 years old already and he's a more dependent on his physicality than Posey. More importantly, Posey is a much better player. I'm surprised so many people who said not offering Posey a 4th year contract was the right move wouldn't have problems eating a bigger contract, with the same length and from a worse player and through a trade. Very telling.

Andres is signed for 5 years at 8 mil...

Tony's contract expires in a couple years.

Btw... I don't see the Kings taking that group of losers...

Really?  Can I get confirmation of this from a non homer, please?  I'm curious.

Big Baby is losing us games.  O Bryant doesn't play, because he's worse than half the people in D-League.  Scal is Scal.   Tony Allen needed a brain transplant 4 years ago and is out for the season anyways.
