How do you use those guys?

In the post reply section just click on the picture of the little dude that you want.  it will then go into your post.  It won't look like the yellow guy until after you post it.

So, who thinks we´ll see an Odom + Farmar for Chris Paul trade next summer?

What?

I wasn´t serious.
The Hornets give their stars away for basically nothing, and the Lakers get their stars for basically nothing...

Huh, I was thinking the opposite actually.  Take it with a grain of salt, as I don't watch either team too much, but I thought that NO made out pretty well here.

Chandler seems to be benefiting greatly from playing with Chris Paul.  I don't really think he that much better than Chris Wilcox at the end of the day.  Certainly CW will be able to finish the 5-6 alleyoops a night that comprise all of TC's offense.  And they add a vet rotation player who fills their most glaring need, front court depth.

idk, am I under valueing Chandler too much?  he just hasn't shown me much more than the putback dunk.  He doesn't seem to posess any post moves, doesn't commmand a double and he can't hit jumpshots.  Good defender and rebounder sure, but so is Wilcox...

Actually, I agree with you on Chandler´s game, I just think that his trade value is/was a lot higher than a package of Smith and Wilcox. Chandler is a legit NBA Center, and the Thunder didn´t even had to give up one of their first-rounders.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

In regards to his defence and rebounding when compared to Wilcox, you're undervaluing him by an awful lot. Chandler is a top rebounder and, more importantly, an excellent defender when healthy. He alone gave the Hornets a chance of coming out of the West last season due to his ability to guard guys like Duncan and Gasol straight up, without doubles. He needs to be healthy and scoring some points (and for that he needs guard play) in order to be that effective. But when he gets things going, he's really, really good.

QFT.

The problem with Wilcox is the space between his ears. The problem with Chandler is the space between his shoulders and his hips.

i think chandler is solid, but i think his stock is higher than it should be because chris paul made him look good and helped his offensive numbers.

There is an awful lot of talk about his offensive numbers. The primary responsibility of a 7-foot center is to defend and rebound. If he can stay healthy this is a steal of a trade.

He's certainly a major improvement over the motley crew that the Thunder are using at the center position now. I like Collison, but he's really a pf.

If New Orleans thinks that Chris Paul can turn Wilcox into a Chandler, they deserve to fail. CP is awesome but still, I think somebody there must really have had a problem with Chandler personally to not appreciate his rare talent and abilities and credit them all to CP.

Chandler and CP were the scaffolding they could have built a contender around every year for the next 5 years at least. When Chandler was healthy, they were a contender. Starting Wilcox, they are just not a contender. It would have been much smarter to build around Chandler and CP and hope for the best each year on Chandler's health, they have plenty of time ahead of them.

Seriously, who trades a rarely talented center in his early prime for a mediocre center and a veteran backup pf? How can that not wreck your franchise for half a decade?

NO = epic fail. OKC = amazingly lucky, although they probably wish they could cryo-freeze Chandler for two years. But he'll be fine if they really take it easy with him while Durant etc grow up a bit.

What an awful trade for the Hornets. As much as i dislike Chandler he was a huuuuge part of this team. He may even be a tad bit overratted but hes worth much more to the hornets than wilcox and smith. I get the financial issues surrounding the trades and wilcox has always been a favorite of mine but chandler will greatly be missed in NO.

Good move for OKC. Bad move for NO.

Anybody else thinks its wrong teams make moves like this because of $$? NO should be moved.

i just watched Durant dump 47 on the hornets.

Guy at one point made like 7 shots in a row to take the lead... then at the end of the game he made a desperation turnaround three to tie it... only to have Chris Paul run down the court and make a shot in the paint to win it.

CHandler should help their interior defense.
