Bavetta has completely rolled over for the Jazz since the T.  It's embarrassing to watch.

KG looked like he hurt it on the jump - he didn't even come down on the right knee.  That's more likely to be a tweak than a tear - seems like the serious ones always come from landings.  No way of knowing now though.

This was a really fun game til about 10 minutes ago, when the refs put on the home jerseys and KG went down. Hopefully he'll come back and we'll take it down.

I hate Bavetta, he never calls anything the Celtics' way. It's embarrassing. He needs to retire already.

As a matter of fact, I can't remember the last time the Celtics got the benefit of the doubt for an entire game, or even ad it called down the middle. I think a certain someone wants a certain team to get home  court advantage. What a joke.

And KG didn't even step on anything or roll anything. I'm just gonna go ahead and guess ruptured achilles

I'm sure it's just a minor tweak, I wouldn't worry too much, but hopefully Danny will worry now and realize how badly he needs to sign another big man.
If you are getting a big to replace KG just throw the season out we can last a little while with KG down but can't last any real amount of time if that injury is serious. Thats how delicate the NBA can be though one bad jump and the season could end or he could be back for the 2nd half who knows

Haha that's not what I'm saying at all, as I said I'm sure KG will be fine. I'm just saying hopefully Danny realizes how thin we are for big men and exactly how bad we need another big guy in there. Obviously if KG had to be replaced we can start resting up for next year.

KG is fine, guaranteed.

Not sure how anyone can say he is fine. He could not put any weight on it. Could it have just been a cramp -- I doubt it, but can only hope. He could put NO weight on it at all.

I dont think knees cramp

Can someone please explain how the NBA can't take a look at the first half of this game and not determine that they have a serious officiating problem?

Reffing is terrible. Utah has a 3-1 advantage in FTAs and some of the calls are suspect to be charitable.

Why is Bavetta still a ref? Wasn't he a young ref back when Mikan was playing?

Obviously I am just trying to be positive.

On the replay KG did put weight on that leg for one step, and it didn't buckle...could be a good sign.

Who said it was his knee? Watch the play again. He hurt it going up. I said it first and will say it again -- I fear it is a ruptured achilles.

15 free throws to 5... ridiculous.

I am hoping it was a cramp in KG's leg because it happened as he went up so it wasn't a sprain... the only other thing I can think of is an Achilles.   UGH!!!!!!

Dick Bavetta IS THE WORST REF IN THE NBA. Its ridiculous how much he hates us.
