The forced Shaq/Kobe duo interviews this weekend should have been the clue. What a lame way to cap off a complete and utter crapfest.

how freakin' lame can you get? further proof that the NBA is all about media stories instead of the basketball. made for tv, that's how they want it.

you can bet your last $ they'll do whatever they can to get LBJ and Kobe in the finals. did you notice which all-star starters were introduced last? made for a better show.
don't need to. they control everything. just look at the inconsistency in fines and suspensions across the league. look at the officiating!!! the league has a major scandal with officiating (betting on games) and what do they do to correct? not much, don't need to. whatever works for ratings and good press is what drives their decision making.

I noticed the introductions as well. NBA doesn't even try to hide it.

The NBA isn't even trying to be believable anymore in their WWE like manipulations. This co-MVP is so implausible what Shaq and Kobe got the exact number of votes? Why couldn't Ray Ray have gotten co-MVP last year?

Co-MVPs?  They talked all night about Kobe and Shaq, "back together again" it was almost decided before the game that that would make a nice story.  Then they tried to compare it to Bob Petit and Michael Jordan, give me a break, what did Shaq do, on the court, to warrant being MVP?  I agree it had a Vince McMahon flair all over it, Kobe-Lebron Finals is what they want, they don't even mention the teams they play for when talking about it.

Only 3 players were going to get the MVP depending on which team won. Kobe/Shaq or Lebron. It is a joke. The all star game is now boring because of the rigged MVPs.

Kobe took so many shots, it's pathetic how selfish and egomaniac this guy is! He clearly wanted this MVP title so bad...

However,it was already decided to be Shaq and Kobe the co-MVPs, before the game started, so I wasn't even surprised...

this is what you get when you put undeserving players in the all star weekend.. boring all throughout. the only event i kinda enjoyed was the rookies-soph game

Kobe was the most selfish and took the most shots... typical of all his teams. Shaq was great tonight, he deserved it.

Kobe's ballhogging tonight was laughable. With Paul, Billups and Parker on his team there was really no need for that. It was clearly stat padding in a bid for the MVP. Maybe he's worried he won't win MVP or finals MVP this year?

Totally agree,TP!

The only guy I felt pity for was Danny Granger, they didn't even give him the ball! On the other hand, Mo Williams just made my opinion about him even worse... >:(
Maybe he's a Kobe-wannabe... :P

He took 10 shots and had 5 assists...what's bad about that? Pierce and Allen took 11 and 10 respectively, with 3 assists total, and they were on the court for a few more minutes than Mo.

too much dribbling.. takes a lot of time to decide what to do with the ball. the east needs to play at a faster pace bec of their size disadvantage but with him running the plays, they were really stagnant

Umm, yeah, I really doubt they drew up plays and sets.  He got the ball down the court and got other guys involved. He pushed the ball quicker than anyone else on the East and looked for early offense.

Dribbling too much? That's pretty lame to nitpick that.
