Probably for the best, he was never gonna get any burn for the C's this season. Nice to see they kept Billy Walker with the team though.

I doubt we will ever see JR play for the celtics. I was hoping he would get a few minutes against MIN but now I don`t think he will get another opportunity.

We have a 15 man roster and we want to add 2 more players. I believe JR will be traded for a second round pick just to clear a roster spot.

And that is too bad. I really like him. You can see his enthusiasm on the bench, seems to be a very positive guy, would be nice to see him get a chance...

He's far more valuable than a 2nd round pick. He's an excellent prospect at one of the two most important positions in the game. He'll be used to pick up a nice vet like Smith from OKC. Oh wait -- did my alarm clock just go off? Sorry i was dreaming his name was either Jordan or Chalmers.

Trading JR for a 2nd round pick would be quite dumb.

Chuckle. TP for you for the laugh.

Yeah, Danny inverted our draft picks. Walker's the clear first-rounder now.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

We probably will not get a first round pick for him so he would have to be included in a deal with another player.

Too bad he didn't at least get some of the readily available garbage time that was there during this current win streak. Don't know Doc's thought process sometimes.

Yeah, I think Walker would have been the pick if he wasn't such an injury questionmark at the time of the draft.  No one wanted to give him guaranteed money at that point.

One hyphenated word sums up JR's rookie season thus far, and that word is YO-YO

I did like his dancing though.

It's hard to explain how he dropped so much...he was a top lottery pick in his first freshman year....

i know there were injury concerns, but you would think someone would have taken a flier on him earlier...

he clearly has a potent game.

How does Yo-Yo sum it up?  He was riding the bench, sent to the D-league, came up for a bit of a "rest" as Ainge put it, and now he is going back.  To me it seems like a pretty standard season for a project.
