I never understood why KG didn't take the tipoff (Perk does it most nights).

maybe O'Bryant could be our designated tipper
Yeah, maybe O'Bryant starts and then as soon as possession is obtained, BBD sprints to the table and at the 3 min mark of the first quarter (barring foul trouble) Perk comes in as technically the first 7th man.

Really, guys, this is getting ridiculous, don't you think?

I know video games are ALOT different from the real deal, but I had to put Pierce on the bench to spark the offense in 2k9. All sarcasm aside, I wonder if Doc has considered putting 1 of the Big 3 on the bench versus making them 1 of them play extensive minutes. Even if KG came off the bench, its not like he wouldn't see the majority of the floor time with Pierce and Ray. The only problem with putting KG on the bench, is with him being the only B3 on the floor, and if House isn't hitting his shot, then all the opposing team has to do is guard KG and watch Tony Allen drive in for an offensive foul, Powe back someone down and lose the ball, Rondo drive in for an open layup and miss, or BBD pull up for a jumper and airball it.
Can't stop, Rondo!

KG has definitely lost more than a step and hasn't been the same as last year

Davis in the starting lineup is definitely the way to go as the celtics are getting too old and need some young blood showing the old guys how to do it

its amazing the celtics could win it last year playing KG as much as they did

if Powe and Davis and Scalabrine played a lot more and KG and Ray Allen less the celtics would have finished off the hawks in a sweep, the lebabies in 5, the pistons in 5 and the fakers would have been broomed away as well

doc sucks for not seeing the obvious, young players play better and will always do so it tight games and the playoffs
What an absolute idiot this new guy is. His membership should be revoked forever. This is the type of posts I knew would happen sooner or later.

Hehehehe. ;) ;D

In all seriousness, I think I could come off the bench for the Kings right now.

I just wanna recognize the Big One for giving great effort while KG is out. We are fortunate to have guys like Glen Davis and Brian Scalabrine on our bench. They give 110% every time they are on the floor. They completely buy into the team concept. They just get out there and produce to the best of their ability.

Thank you gentlemen.

I agree.  KG is losing it fast, it's kind of embarrassing to see.  BBD's newfound versatility just gives us more options on the floor with the starting unit than KG.  We also need KG to fire up guys like Powe and House when the bench comes in.

I hate to say it but it's time for a change.

Yup.  And he's definitely taking Perk's starting job.

KG would be the best 6th man of all time.  BBD provides what we need in the starting lineup.

(For nickagneta...  ;))

Yea but why would someone who is one of the BEST players of all time come off the bench?
