I would say that he's jumped the shark, but he did that so long ago...

I would say that he's a joke, but it isn't really even funny anymore to laugh at him

he's become just a caricature of himself at this point

shaughnessy is a donkey!!!!!! they are doing what any couple does.  maybe he is jealous tom has giselle feeding tom and not him ;)

Every time someone reads Shaughnessy's columns and gets mad about it, he's doing his job. You may hate him, but you're still reading him.

A columnist's worst nightmare is not dissent but irrelevance. So if you truly hate Shaughnessy (like I do) do NOT read his column... Give him the old Gregg Easterbrook treatment.
