Just a question that came to my mind as I was on my way to an interview.

As a teacher, I rarely wear a tie.  Some teachers almost wear them everyday.  Others, never.

So how about you?

I was when I was working.  Business suit Monday-Thursday and business casual on Fridays.  During tax season, it was full casual at the office on Saturdays.

Now that I'm back in grad school, its hoodie and jeans! Much more comfortable.

Always Monday through Thursday, Fridays only if I'm meeting with clients and/or in court.

I'm 26 and I still don't know how to tie a tie. If I need to wear one (maybe 2 or 3 times a year), I get some cute girl to tie it for me. Or I wear a bolo (cowboy) tie.

Greatest thing about owning your own business that you run out of the house, some mornings, I'm working in my Celtics pajamas.

I teach and wear a tie 3 days a week. Especially if our school is having a program and parents will be around.

My old swim coach, also a teacher, always wore a tie when teaching in the classroom (he was the AD, so he also taught gym, and didn't where a tie for that.)

Anyways I where one when the customer setting demands it. Having worked with various customers across the fortune 1000 mostly nice khakis or dress pant and a shirt will be more formal than the customer.

I'm a student/banker/teller depending on the day. When I'm a banker or work in the bank lobby I wear a tie. So about 3 days a week on average.

I need to go get some more ties. I only have four I like to wear at the moment. Just bought my suits for the banker job...

I'm a teacher and wear a tie at least 4 days a week.  We have dress down days every other Friday, so I go casual on those days.
