  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Which is more believable, that Turtle gets with Meadow Soprano, or that Steven Spielberg is casting Vince in the great Gatsby

I thought it was Scorcese (sp?).

Regardless, its a ridiculous premise that Vince would go from having one bad film to the doghouse where he would struggle to even get a supporting role and then get an offer from one of the top directors in film right after getting fired from a movie.

Yah, Dons, I think you're right about the director.

As absurd as it was, I still thoroughly enjoyed season 5.  Hard to quibble with Jamie-Lynn coming on to the scene.

Easily my favorite show on television.

It's actually not that ridiculous for a number of reasons. It's fairly close to what happened with Leonardo DiCaprio: Does a record setting big budget film with James Cameron ( involving a lot of water no less), do a couple stinkers ( Man in the Iron mask/ The Beach) and then have Scorcese see something in them and give them the staring role in a big film ( Gangs of New York.

Also Scorcese is known for his love of New York and New York actors, De Niro and Pacino, as well as his ability to find roles for Actors that go right in their wheel house culturally, think Mark Wahlberg ( producer of "Entourage" btw) in "The Departed". Both of these fit for him to hire Vince for this movie.

This actually is in character for both Vince and Scorsece. When I saw it I thought it made perfect sense.

Ehh, I think he has more of a short mans complex and does a good job of pulling it off, theres plenty of people like that in real life.  Just my opinion.

This is a great show, as much as Id love to say that they should make it an hour long, it would probably take something away from the show.  I would like to see longer seasons though, either that or less time inbetween.

Johnny Drama's gotta be my favorite on the show.

What if I was to tell you that most of the show is unbelievable, is that something you might be interested in?

But since it's a tv shoe I don't look for believable, I look for funny, and this show is that.

I've been watching it for a while but had never seen the first 2 seasons until they replayed them on demand resently. I think it started out better, but it's still better than 90% of the stuff on the tube.

The show has gone drastically downhill.

Still an entertaining show, but not nearly as good as it was.

I really liked this episode THat said, this epi once again cemented Vince as my least favorite entourage member.

I liked it as well.  This season it seems as if Vince hasn't been in the spotlight so much.  E seems to be the focus with his issues with Sloan and Ashley and new job.  Then I'd say Ari and Lloyd were focused on more then Vince were.  Minus the stalker story, Vince hasn't really done much this season.

And the stalker story ended up not even being about Vince. I like the direction that they've gone with every single character on the show, Lloyd's development into an actual character which is very funny and interesting.

Isn't Turtle dating Meadow in real life?  So I would have to say that is more believable.

Show has done a very good job on not focusing on Vince and is better because of it.  I hope Ashley is going to be off the show for good.  She plays the annoying character too well.

Right, they've done a good job, the show really doesn't have a main character.  Initially it was really based on Vince, without Vince the show wouldn't have worked.  Now, they've really had the characters branch out.  E makes his money on his own now, Drama had been working, and even Turtle is going to school.  Lloyd has also turned into one of the funnier characters on the show.  Should be interesting to see how he works with Ari as Ari buys Terrence's agency.
