I'll tell you why I think the eltics aree primed for a long winning streak while beati ng good team slike the Cavs and Lakers.

1. The renewed vigor and return of the chenistry that the starters have. Remember, this was supposed to be the year they "gelled". Well, I think we are about to see this and I think once Perk returns, with the renewed vigor Rondo has come back with  and the cohesion the starters are showing, I think the starters will see a lot of games like tonight's where the Celtics go up big and cruise the rest of the game.

Aside, OmFreakingG. With the Walker slam!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think that thinking the C's are primed for a run is an over reaction. I think they are a bit more rested and ready for a run.

I hope Terry Porter calls a timeout after that dunk. It was so classless of Walker.

hes a garbagetime player, he's trying to prove what he has. if that was KG it would have been classless. this kid averages like 6 minutes a game.

just what boston needed to do...come out and drop the hammer..get the starters GOOD rest and continue winning...thought the defense sans the 4th was the best it has been as of late...good start to the week...need to beat miami and dallas this week...orlando would be a big big win too

I don't think that thinking the C's are primed for a run is an over reaction. I think they are a bit more rested and ready for a run.

Well, they can go on a run, that's not the over-reaction part. But thinking that they're this much better than the Suns, or that they were terrific during the winning streak, or that Rondo has turned a corner, is.

Beware of the dangers of the hubris.

Bill Walker is what all of Tony Allen's supporters want TA to be.

Unfortunately, he's not that good, at least currently.

Walker knows how to get the basket and finish while being under control.

Tony is rarely under control and is an inconsistent finisher.

I've never liked TA very much.

Tony Allen's injury is the best thing to have happened to the Celtics.

Now that he can't screw up the bench, not only are the bench players maintaining leads, but Bill Walker has finally been given the chance to prove he's a better player than TA.

Now trade Tony, Baby, and and O'Bryant for a legit big man that can back up Perk. PJ Brown needs a successor

I'm thinking big things too.

However, I was also (at times) thinking big things about Kedrick Brown, Jerome Moiso, Marcus Banks, Gerald Green, J.R. Bremer, Brandon Hunter, Ron Mercer, Sebastian Telfair, and a host of others.

well he makes rookie mistakes cause he's a rookie, TA makes Rookie mistakes and he's a veteran. plus walker has the explosiveness.
