Don't rule out the possibility of that cylon FTL drive being more than just fast.

If it's REALLY fast, time travel is possible, and that would explain everything.

First Heroes. Then Lost. And now BSG may involve time travel too. How cool is that?!?  ;D

Just watched last Friday's episode... very good stuff, just what I like seeing in a series. A ton of action, it was quite exciting overall. Starbuck and Adama were completely kickass.

First good episode in a while.   Hopefully they keep it up.

I dont mind it when its used sparingly or only as a valid plot point.

What i dislike (and heros is VERY guilty of this) is when its used to make up storylines that the writers think are cool, but they then dismiss later and  don't count because "we changed it back to the way it was!!"

It's like using the tried old hack dream sequence move, but even worse.

Last Friday's episode might have been the best episode in a season and a half.

The highlight was when Adama and Ty threw the smackdown on those two punks leading them to the brig.

i was glad to see they did'nt chicken out and just make defectors from pegasus. i think zarek makes a good case.the average joe does'nt know he's had "his hand in the jar" as adama says. it seems like a fact that adama and roslin DO kinda keep secrets and ARE making decisions to stay in power.they are doing it because they think it's the right decision but those decisions have been a disaster. we know as viewers that all the prophecy stuff will come true at least somewhat. roslin was'nt seeing snakes just from the drugs,y'know. but for the characters, they have been follwing a president's religios prophecy. think how insane that is. "funny how we turn to the cylons for help when her prophecy turns out to be a bunch of crap." "we then turn to the people that destroyed 99 percent of our species?", or something like that. for each individual that's my mom, my dad, bro, sister, spouse, children.  hell no. i would love to be a marine rushing the cic to arrest adama. from their prospective he absolutely should be punished. roslin should be airlocked or worse. i actually think it was very unrealistic that someone did'nt kill her when she was jogging.
ofcourse, in the end all will be revealed. loving the show. it DID need a kick of action big time.

I like Starbuck when she is only mildly crazy.

to continue..

I mean its kinda like shes turned into a characture of herself. Like now she's some crazy old koot that sits on a porch and waits for kids to ride by on bikes so he can yell weird things at them.

Example:

Guy:"Hey Starbuck."
SB: "Do you even KNOW how fracked up this all is?"
Guy: "Yeah. (insert something about cylons, and how Starbuck is weird)"
SB: (throws cup/plate/spoon at guy) "Frack you! I'm gonna slap you around! And everyone else in this messhall/hallway/bedroom! Anyone want some"
(everyone looks at starbuck weird)

This has happened like sixteen times over the last 5 epis, this season and last.

i think it would'nt be a bad thing to make her likeable at some point. i mean when you always treat everyone like crap then you're just a crappy person right?

I loved last night's epi. Helen as the missing link was not the abominable choice I assumed it was, it actually worked out pretty well.

I liked the episode too... so there was another Cylon model, Daniel. I'm pretty sure that he'll be related to Starbuck somehow, especially since he was described as artsy one.

So Adama Jr. will now be the de facto president. And with Anders not being "there"... where is he? Are there any more resurrection ships around, or where all destroyed? Because I would think that there could be a possibility for him to be revived somewhere else.

i've had nothing to say but good things about bsg..until now. last episode was rough. ellen is as calm as can be when she is about to have her head split open (and it was made clear it was going to be made painful), then this past week she's back to being a cancerous mess and super jealous. i don't know . it seemed very inconsistent. it's like the writers are'nt sharing information. like to different writers are writing the character completely different.
tyrol wanting to leave, not even thinking twice. he had just accepted the chief job again and looked like we were headed in a completely different direction. i know there's boomer and all but it just seemed ..off.
the worst was adama arming GAIU BALTAR'S MOB? was'nt there just a mutiny? he's just gonna go on everything gaius says? lee too? the president?  i did'nt understand this at all. i cringed when they did this. could'nt believe it.
.
4 episodes to go and way to much info. you can really see how they are forcing stuff in.using sam's injury as a way to just spit out nearly everything by word(instead of showing or revealing stuff at a pace consistent with the show).
i still love it though. michael hogaN(tyrol) was fantastic last episode.

prediction: adama becomes a hybrid to galactica. he's gonna get it on with some cylon goo and be one with the ship. or maybe it's sam. maybe that's the only way he survives.  but i'm going with bill adama nd galactica as one.
