TP for the laugh bud, Scal can't top the 3.5 billion chinese votes Yi got  :-\ he'd only peak at a few million or so.

things like this are flat out stupid...if scal (or any clown) makes the team it only cheapens the procedure.  put the 12 best guys on the team.

scal's barely one of the celtics' 12 best players... ::)

Totally agreed, why isn't this thread locked yet?

NJ coach Frank: "You’ve got to have guys like Brian Scalabrine that are always ready. He’s always prepared. He always puts in the work. He’s going to be on point in terms of his defensive schemes and rotations. He’ll help spread the floor offensively.... Brian is just a phenomenal teammate, and those guys are invaluable in terms of what they mean to your team."

Globe: "A fan-generated campaign has started to launch Scalabrine as an All-Star candidate."

3pt stats:
   Posey 38% (last year)/35.6% (career)
Scal 39.5% (this year prior to last game)/35.1% (career)

Is Scal an All-Star? Would you vote for Scal?

Posey wasn't/isn't an allstar either so why would Scal be?
"If somebody would have told you when he was playing with the Knicks that Nate Robinson was going to change a big time game and he was going to do it mostly because of his defense, somebody would have got slapped."  Mark Jackson

Scal is not an all-star but I would vote for him. Scal starting along side Lebron.. wouldn't that be something.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Well since the All Star game is a joke I think Scal would fit right in.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
well, what i love most about the all star break is that nba tv or espn classic will show the older all star games...watch those from the '80s and you'll see some fine basketball.

Of all the nonsense on this site, this is the thing you complain about?

I'll give you an answer: because not everyone agrees with you, and it's not breaking any rules.

What's that stellar prediction again from last year that you made?  Oh right that the Lakers would finish with a better regular season record than the Celts.

No one agreed with you on that either.

And this topic is ridiculous.

I'd hate to see Scal on the All-Star team.

He'd steal O'Blount's minutes.

Yeah those classic All-Star games are fun to watch. Problem is they show like the same 3 every year. Maybe that's because there were 3 All-Star games in history that were worth watching.
