I think that BBD and Powe miss Posey the most out of anyone.
I mentioned it another thread how the loss of Posey has resulted in a bench rotation where with Powe and BBD on the floor at the same time much more than last year.  I believe that that is part of the reason that Powe and BBD have struggled.  With Posey in the game Powe and BBD could concentrate on their strengths, Posey was a much more of an offensive threat reducing the pressure on either Powe or BBD.

Of all the off season moves I was most excited about Walker, I had hoped to see him play himself into significant minutes with the 2nd team.  I was able to see Walker play for K-state a lot, and he has the potential to be a solid offensive option.  He does have to develop some defense to go along with the offense, but playing with Powe or BBD (who both are above average defensive players) would seem to be a good fit.

If Walker can develop into the player that I had hoped by the end of the season it would ease some of the sting of losing Posey.  I may be an optimist, but I still think it could happen.  Obviously, I would love to have Posey back. I can not fathom why DA would take such a risk passing on a know commodity, relying on developing young talent to fill that hole.

i'm with you a 1000% on the effect of no Pose on Powe and BBD....not only has it forced them on the court together more, but it has also forced them to do more things on the court taking them away from what they really did well last year...just being really physical in the paint and pushing and shoving and scrapping and just being all around bangers...

BBD has been playing well, imo.  I even thought he played well the night he went 1-11 from the floor, the night everyone wanted to trade him :-\.  It was just a poor offensive night, but he did a good job on the other end.  He gets too much flack, imo.  Like Ainge said in his WEEI interview, BBD's jump shot is going to be a big help come playoff time if he gets more consistent with it, which I think he will.

And he's becoming a 3-point threat as well.
