  • You know my methods, Watson.
come on, guys...doc is NOT going anywhere.  he and danny are as thick as thieves.  so get used to it.  but danny will NOT fire him.

danny loves his roster and he loves his coach...might as well just sit back and hope he upgrades the roster because the coach isn't going anywhere.

You don't break up the Big Three unless you have a home run deal on the table.

why? they clearly have little to no chemistry anymore...the teams falling apart

I can't tell the tone on internet posts. Is this is a sarcastic comment? My apologies, I just can't tell.

If not, do you really think the team is falling apart? Why so?

Doc hasn't been brilliant lately. Most of it is because of the lack of talent in our bench. You know we're in trouble when Scal is 9th in depth compared to last year 15th. Doc fault is that he's too loyal to the vets, thats the different between him & pop. Pop gets the most from what he has.

TP for Roy Hobbs. You should get 2, actually.
I`ve been saying the same things for quite a while now.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

He doesn't give explanations for his posts. He joined the blog a month ago, and if you look back at his posts basically every single one of them is a grouchy one-liner complaining about how horrible our team is.

I am not sure why this team is so manic or bipolar but that probably comes with the territory with a highly emotional guy like KG.

KG is a type of marquee player who doesn't do the one thing which would make the big three unstoppable, draw double teams on the block; therefore, we're vulnerable to defenses which puts one guy on him and focuses on making sure that PP can't create his own shot off the dribble.

In my dream team scenario, Pierce is hooked up with an Olajuwon and what happens is that when the ball is in Hakeem's hand, a double team is immediately called on him, in the post, and at the same time, the team defenses will be at stopping HO from having a direct line to pass to Pierce. This is what we'd needed from KG and in this situation both PP and Ray Ray will be scoring threats without needing to be able to beat their man off the dribble. Of course, Pierce can beat most one-on-one defenders but that really isn't necessary 100% of the time. The difference is that KG doesn't garner tight defenses because he's not a mainstay post scorer, who can generate his own shot, but a person who's got too much of Pau Gasol in him and bit of Mutumbo's shot blocking.

Really, KG has got to step up his game and start to play more of a post game, create his own shot, and then find his open scorer in the perimeter.

Kind of hard to play on the post when you're 7'1", 200 lbs.
God bless and good night!

Doc is the worst coach since....since....KC Jones, and this team is definitily the worst since....?  Give me a break!  We will either come out of this or not, but if we do, it will be because we went back to defense, and UMBUTU...

Its kind of frustrating, isn't it?
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Garnett is 6'11 220 pounds and while he can shoot over the top of alot of post players having him pound the ball in the post is ineffective. He is such a great player often we have good results but it takes alot of energy and his play on the defensive end suffers a bit. Garnett is not strong enough to back down other pf's and centers. His game is suited to a Don Nelson or D'Antoni offense. Ray Allen is also minimized in this offense. The games ive watched Ray play before he joined the Celtics he had the ball in his hands alot(like Iverson and Lebron). It seemed like it was only a matter of time before he caught fire and when he did he went off.
We have the ball in Rondos hands most of the time and Ray is reduced to shooting quick jumpers. Like i said earlier in the thread Doc is a class act just not a top notch coach. It's too bad we probably will never see what Heinson could do with this team.
