I'm as big a Rondo supporter as they come, but he's one of the main reasons why we're losing these games. Don't just look at assists per game as a measurement of effectiveness. Some of Rondo's best games have not been statistically sexy. He's either in attack mode or not, it seems. When he is, the offense goes (regardless of the assists per game). When he's not, like what's been the case of late, the offense tends to stagnate, and you see more of Ray handling the ball at the top of the key and passing out of double teams (dribbling his way out of them), and players in general putting up last second shots or getting called for 24 second violations... a lot. The people who pull out specific stats are not doing any service to their stance. Watch the games, make note of trends. Rondo's definitely not the only reason the Celtics are playing as poorly as they are, but his lack of aggressiveness has sure been a cause for concern as well as attribute that has directly led to our losing.
