I know, I won't be watching another Celtics game all year. This team sucks.

Go Bruins! The only good team in town.
didn't you say that last game?

Really... who thought our problems were going to be addressed between Houston and Cleveland?  This game shouldn't be a surprise.  WE'll regroup at some point, but it wasn't going to happen tonight, folks.

Do we lose both games in the home at home with Toronto?
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

i blame this loss on the following:

The age and extreme partying of this past summer showing for the "large 3"

that's not fair nor factual...pierce is in THE GREATEST shape of his career.

ok, exception, cuz i love paul pierce, and he definitely showed up in prime shape this year. i'm just p---ed lol. i'm gonna go punch something now.

If we lose this one is on the officials. Don't tell me anything about effort or hustle or defense-- its been there. We've gotten no breaks, and the Cavs have gotten a ton of them. LeBron's specialty is capitalizing off of ref BS.

This is the kind of post that drives me nuts. The Cavs have dominated this game tonight except on the boards. They right now are so much better than the Celtics -- and they are playing without their starting center.

Seriously, this one is not on the refs at all.

We are getting outplayed.

Not at all man...The Cavs have just made a statement, especially here in the 4th, that the Cavs are just simply better this year.  Rondo has played a terrible game, Pierce has had a pretty sucky game, Ray has disappeared, and the bench continues to suck.

When you look at this game, was there really ever any doubt it was going to be like this?

We should not blame this game on anyone else but ourselves. We lost this game for us. Not the refs. We totally got murdered out there.

I'd prefer to lose than play the hacking game.

just accept this team for what it is...it will get to the final four of the east and get bounced in semifinals....but NO WAY it repeats...this team is looking like the 2007 teams...losing 7 of the last 9??? they suck right now...

Yeah alright chief. If you knew how I post on a regular basis you wouldn't pass me off as some sort of reactionary nut. The officiating has been the largest factor in this game. LeBron's played great.... capitalizing off of terrible calls.

They've outplayed us by maybe four points. The rest is built off of the officiating. Every time we needed a call or a break, it went the other way and LeBron or Varejo got a 3 point play. That's a five point swing due to the refereeing, and when it happens multiple times, it makes a big change in the game.

Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

The only word to describe this team right now is sad. I hope they can reach 80 points tonight. The offense is a mess -- Rondo or someone else dribbles for 15 or more seconds then desperately tries to find someone open -- and the defense is not much better. No one would have predicted how badly this team is playing right now.

I'll second that.  It was a freak accident that the C's were even in this game.  Deserved to be down by far more than 9 at halftime.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
this team has so many deficiencies that not even james posey would make much difference...

lebron showed up...too bad our "stars" didn't.

Lose Sunday for 5 in a row, then finally win Monday night -- I hope.
