Nope. Its not time.

Justify TA's continued playing time to me over giving walker a shot right now.

He's been atrocious for the past month.

i never wanted walker in the d-league.  when i brought it up in the beginning of the season, people thought i was crazy on here.  walker has an nba body and game already.  he is fearless.

Couple of issues, but I am with you in spirit.

1) The roster is full. Do we have anyone eligible for the D-League? If not, someone has to be cut.

2) At the very least, VERY LEAST, we can give him Scal's minutes and it will be an upgrade. There is no argument that he has the talent to contribute.

3) Player development. My hope is that Ainge has him down there to learn / refine a few specific skills at game speed. If he came up now, his minutes would be limitted and his looks would be non-existant.

Absoultly not true. All you need to do is not have someone dress. Sam was doing this before, when they were still up here. he can do it again.

you can have 15 players at the NBA level. not everyone sends 2 guys to the NBDL. you can only dress 13.

While I don't think Walker is better than TA, and I don't believe is ceiling is as high as most bloggers, if POB is never going to get meaningful minutes, then why not have Walker take his place.  Give him a shot.

I dont see what people see in TA that can't be had by any athleticly gifted but dumb as a brick prospect. walker cant be as dumb on the court as TA, he's a unique talent in that area, and he can actualy shoot.

Even his defense, his one claim to fame, is slipping badly at this point.

Walker's lateral quickness is more like a 4's, never mind having him guard 2's or 3's.

Well bring up Giddens then.

tony's been clowned for the last month and a half defending 3's too, its why scal's playing those minutes he used to get to start the season, and its still a disaster.

The team definitely needs an energy infusion, however they do it.  I'm all for a little tinkering.  I'd like to see POB get some minutes to see if he can make a mark.  If he is over is head, it will help Danny decide what to do with him.  I also wouldn't mind Walker getting a few of TA's minutes and any minutes that Scal gets and see what happens.

Yeps. As well as the rest of his game. He reminds me a lot of a young Bonzi Wells.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
the cav's are playing a rookie in JJ Hickson and allowing him to learn on the job...it will be a HUGE help to them when the playoffs come around.

i think bill walker should be brought up and put into the rotation...sometimes you just have to trust a kid, and i think the celtics are foolish to not give him a shot.
