The whole team needs (at the very least) a shot in the arm. When was the last time you saw the bench play with ferocity? When was the last time you saw the starters animated on the bench while the subs were in? I think it might be time to bring Bill " There is another Sky-" Walker up from the D- League.

In 31 minutes a game, he's averaging almost 19 points, 5 boards( 1 offensive), 1.3 steals and most surprisingly 40% from 3. I don't see what the Celtics have to lose by bringing Walker up and seeing if he can provide some energy for the team. Maybe I'm wrong, but I would like to see this team at least play with some fire soon.

100% with you. He's become a very efficiant player down there and he's filling up the box. How can you lose? and if you remember him and pruitt made some nice connections between eachother in the preseason. (plus TA is hurt, so theres a spot open regardless)

and in regard to Pruitt's minutes, i wouldn't mind seeing him in that second quarter unit with Rondo, KG, Davis/Powe, and Paul/Ray. if he can get some minutes with a few starters on the floor it'll really open up the lanes for him and allow him to gain confidence.

I'd love to see Walker up here... He's already so much better than Tony Allen.

That 40% from three is nice, too... Didn't know about that. From the box scores I looked at he takes a decent volume, too.

Walker is doing great lately in the d-league and He is a physical presence against Lebron-type forwards. He will also bring some fresh air and energy to this team that looks tired in the last couple weeks.

Maybe, you at least know he's going to play hard with a very tough style.  Sometimes that can change a game.
do it

Nope. Its not time.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

This team has no running game and no energy right now based on who is available Walker and Giddens need to be brought up.

Any team that runs and plays with energy causes problems. Any team that can be run is not.

The Celtics are becoming the most predictable team in the league

Its definitely time to try something new so I'm all for him coming up but I think he's better off with the Flash because Doc will only use him in garbage time and the way things are going who knows when the next blowout will be.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

i was watching a game where he was shooting 3's with guys right in his face, but he gets so much air that even on his jump shots and 3's he gets up above the defense.

this is what DA was talking about last year when he drafted these guys, "teams like charlotte and atlanta give us problems because they're more athletic then us" thats why these guys were drafted.

don't you love it when theres a two on one and they lob a HUGE alley oop pass then the whole place goes nuts? oh wait we're like the only team who doesn't do that. KG will get one every once in a while but TA is scared to now becuase of his knee, paul and ray have outgrown it (plus they've slowed down over the years), POB is the only person who gets big OOPS, and its like once a month.

Well that's certainly encouraging. From what I saw of Walker in college he always looked to be taking a set shot, which I never thought made a lot of sense considering his leaping skills.

If he can hit that three, though it's all the more reason to bring him up over Giddens and play him over Tony. He's probably a better slasher then Tony is now, and I highly doubt he's as stupid.

They just don't get stupider than Tony Allen.

Its past time. He's an athletic slasher who can actually shoot.

Considering tony's regression to the mean and recent injury, i don't see how this kid can't be better for the bench than what TA is giving us.

It's just not possable to be  dumber about the game of basketball then TA is.

I'm not sure how anyone wouldn't agree with this. How can it hurt to bring up Walker?  I also think we need to make a deal and now.  This team has been pathetic since the Laker game.
