we actually are playing like one of the worst basketball teams in the league right now...leading in turnovers, guy after guy having career nights, losing to 3 of the worst teams in the league that were all on losing streaks and continued to lose after they beat us....its getting ugly

Just got back from the joke of a game.  I have never seen PP get hacked more and get to the FT line less.  In the OT, how was it not an offensive foul when a Bobcat (???) drove the shoulder into PP or someone and knocked them back about 10 feet and then passed it out for a three pointer???  That was a 5 point swing and really the ball game.

Someone might have mentioned this, but didn't Felton double dribble with about 2 seconds left in regulation.  If anyone taped this, please let me know.  Everyone around me, even Bobbiecat fans said he double dribbled.  It should have been our ball tied up with about 2 to go.

I'm sure glad that I went and played pickup ball tonight instead of sitting home in front of the internet. Being in NC it was blocked out on my league pass. Probably a good thing...

I am once again tired of seeing the SF go off for huge points. 23 out of Wallace and 13 out of Morrison. Where is this famous defense out of PP and TA. So sick of seeing the captain get lit up night after night this year and not get angry about it... If I was one of them I would be committing some serious flagrant fouls. Someone had a thread about the bickering needing to stop. I say it needs to pick up and Perk needs to start throwing some haymakers in the locker room to get some guys attention. He and KG need to start slapping some guys around. Pitiful effort by the champs. Maybe we spoke too soon about their hunger for another still being there.

Dude, you keep forgetting to watch the games and just lash out at pierce after reading the boxscore...pierce didnt guard morrison at all, ray allen did..just like pierce wasnt guarding Harrington or Chandler the other night (he was guarding Q Rich)...maybe watch the games? we were lucky Wallace finished with only 23, he was for the most part shut down in the 2nd half ... and TA didnt even play tonight, hes injured
PP is the only player bringing it, so maybe point your fingers elsewhere

Agreed -- Ray Allen was so bad on defense tonight it was painful. Every time I looked up, Ray's man was driving by him either for an easy hoop or for a dish to someone else for an easy hoop. Ray really looks old all of a sudden tonight. And, when was the last time you saw Ray shoot two airballs in a game?

I'm starting to picture Perk
handing out whoopings.
Funny stuff, EJ  ;)

Didn't watch the game and I'm
very glad I didn't...

I didnt notice honestly, I was more concerned with all the terrible decisions the celtics were making, not the refs

A little consolation is this:
The Lakers are losing to New
Orleans and Kobe and Sasha are
bickering.

The Man Up There likes us  ;)

EDIT:
NOH 116, LAL 105 final.
Huge games by CP3 (ZERO TO's!)
and David West. I like, I like!

I definitely saw that one coming stayed up to watch them lose. Hornets lost to them at home then got embarrassed by the Magic I could tell CP3 was out for blood. Wonder how the LA papers will manage juggling their sky is falling Laker stories with their condescending Celtics commentary  ::)

this is true, ray was the problem las night defensivly, he got lit up by morrision, and 8 of wallaces points came of a switch the cats did to get ray on him (similar to our pierce and eddie screen) paul actually made two huge plays down the stretch to keep points off the board he had no buisness making.

I saw what you saw on Felton ddbl.but with MJ in the ref's ear all night it was hard for the Celtics to catch a break.

First of all DUDE I have watched every minute of every game for the last 5 years except the nights they play the Bobcats because the game isn't sold out and is blacked out on League Pass. I'd be willing to bet I have seen more minutes of games than about anyone. Second of all Pierce was guarding Harrington and Chandler quite a bit the other night so I am not sure what you were watching. Ray Allen wasn't guarding the guy at all. They went bigger on him at times, not smaller.

As far as last night that may be the case that Ray was guarding the guy a lot, but I was speaking for the season as a whole. If you go back game after game the SF has been scoring a huge bulk of the points in most of the games and this is typically defended by PP and TA. PP has not given the same defensive effort that he was last year and for that matter neither is Ray or KG.

I was well aware that TA was sitting out due to his ankle last night which once again my point was to the season as a whole and reasons why we are struggling, so you can take your negative comments and point your finger somewhere else buddy.

Little touchy aren't we? If your going to be overly reactionary and go off on a player while admitting you didn't watch the game then you shouldn't be surprised when someone points out that it's hard to know what happened if you didn't watch.
Yeah, Wallace scored 23 points, but he shot 41%.  Most of his points came at the free throw line, wearas Pierce couldn't buy a free throw.  He also had some fast break points, and scored most easily when Pierce was on the bench in foul trouble.
Pierce did a much better job guarding Wallace then any of the other starters did on their counterparts.  So you look kind of silly for calling Pierce out for last night.

And while we're at it, let me just point out that most of your great scorers play SF or SG, so of course if your going to just look at points in a box score, yeah, you're going to see Pierce;s guy scoring.  But if it takes him shooting 17 shots to score 11 pts (taking free throws out of the equation), I think Doc would take that every day.

Also, that doesn't even take into consideration our team defense breaking down, which has been a problem in this slide.  If Pierce leaves his man to rotate and no one picks up Pierce's man is this Pierce's fault or the fault of the guy who didn't rotate?
You're not going to see that in a box score.
Neither are you going to see the fact that Chandler, while he is technically a SF, scored mostly on Garnett, not Pierce, a fact that was pointed out in all of the New York media.
