Pierce was great as usual. Seems he's the only one whose been consistent the past few road games. Leon was great too Ray actually wasn't bad his threes weren't falling but he tried to get to the hoop and had a couple of and-1s. Bench defense has been slipping for a while and now the starters are struggling to get get stops too. They need to pull it together because Bobcats and Rockets will be out for blood
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Bench not the problem.

Bench IS the problem. Starters ARE the problem. This team, as constituted right now, might not make it to the eastern conference finals.

Who in the East has been really any better? Cleveland seem alot like the Celtics at home are great on the road they are a different team as well. It is up for grabs that is for sure, so far. But yes, the team has to play better then this to get anywhere and I am sure they will. Its a bad stretch but it does not mean they will be in a slump forever.

It was bound to happen that we'd lose some but no doubt about it, we've played some bad basketball lately.

I see a lot of people questioning Doc's substitution patterns and the play of a bunch of people. We probably will never know unless some of the beat guys report it but my guess is a couple of these guys were sick and KG, who was reported as not feeling his best in the "KG takes POB aside article" looked like he was hurt or cramping due to dehydration and Rondo looked slow and out of it and Doc made concerted efforts to keep both their minutes well below normal. Doc never takes Rondo out of a game in the first and third quarters with more than three minutes left in each quarter and he never leaves House in for 14 straight minutes in one half ever like he did in the second half.

Just a guess, some of the guys were sick. Has to be.

Guys don't worry about it.  We are losing these games intentionally so we can give Marbury a purpose.

I don't really see a problem with Doc's substitutions in this game anyway.  Three people showed up for this game:  Pierce, Powe and Scal.  Not even Red could make a good five-man unit out of three players.

That's it. I've officially changed my
mind. BRING ON MARBURY! If we don't
add someone (plus a big) we won't even
get the second seed for the playoffs.

Do your stuff, Danny...

Why do some people act like we're immortal, and "OH who could you even see beating us?" ...Honestly? Cleveland, Orlando, Atlanta, Detroit, Heck Miami could cause problems in a first round match-up, Dwyane wade can take over a series by himself.

A few balls bounce the other way and we could've just as easily lost in every round of last years playoffs, we were not a dominant team, in fact we were the least dominating playoff team of all time, needing more games than other champioship team in history of the NBA...and to top it off WE ARE NOT BETTER THAN LAST YEAR
When you got it going, you got it going. I just keep my focus down the stretch. That's when I want the ball. I'm just not afraid to fail."-PaulPierce

Haha TP.... and no.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

We still have the most wins in the NBA, just now the Lakers have 1 less loss..either way thats really not whats important...the guys need to possibly hold a team meeting and pull their collective heads out of their rear ends

Well... The C's are 18-1 at home and
so are the Lakers. Cavs are 17-0.
Every win and loss counts as far as
HCA is concerned! The players know that
as well. We have to beat teams like NY.
