ESPN is reporting that "the Rat" is interviewing for the Browns head coaching job.

It's also be stated that Pioli is talking with the Browns.

There's no sane way that Pioli and "the Rat" would work together.......is there?

I'm not sure what the Browns are doing here.  If Pioli leaves New England, it'll be because he wants full personnel control which he does not currently have.

If the Browns hire Mangini before taking Pioli onboard, I'd have to think that Pioli would decline the Cleveland job.  He's gonna want his own guy on there as head coach, not someone designated by the organization right before he would be hired.

That's what I think.

Perhaps Pioli has already talked to them and turned them down.  I cannot imagine that Pioli would go for this or that Crennel would stay on and work for "the Rat"

News reports have the Browns making a huge push to get Pioli, which one can understand, I'd do the same if I were the Browns.

What's odd is that the reports are saying: "The offer would include not only millions but, more importantly, full control of the organization and the funds necessary to bring in Pioli’s first choice as head coach, Iowa’s Kirk Ferentz, or perhaps his longtime friend Eric Mangini." (Borges in the Herald - who for the record really dislikes Belichick)

In my humble opinion, if Pioli left the Pats and hired Mangini, it would be the ultimate sign of disrespect to Belichick.  One has to hope that Borges is showing some bias in this report.

If Belichick wins even without Pioli, he will go down as the best ever. And I am a Bills fan, but come on.
