  • "This is beautiful. What is that? Velvet?"
The lady's name was Pauline.
"Coach you were 24 and 58 last year, why the playoff talk?"
"Well we made a couple of key trades . . . and we got The Funk."

I was pretty surprised that Mike Iuzzolino went to Saint Francis University. With only 1500 undergrads and a 37/63 male-female ratio (sha-wing!) in central Pennsylvania, it doesn't exactly scream basketball powerhouse. But its alumni include:

Kevin Porter (assists leader):

Norm Van Lier (all-star):

Maurice Stokes (HOF):

Read the following article about Stokes. He could've been one of the best NBA players of all-time had he not been hit his head on the floor and slipped into a coma and paralysis.

Mike Iuzzolino didn't have quite the careers of his fellow alums.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I stumbled across this thread sometime this morning... and then spent the next 4 hours of my work day surfing wikipedia reading about old game consoles, reading about the history of various games... and watching trailers for the new Punch-Out Wii game and Street Fighter 4.

I'm not complaining, but it totally cut into my plans to watch episodes of "Lost" Season 2 all day while the boss was out of town.

Thanks a lot guys.  You should be ashamed of yourselves.

The way of the open palm.

If you guys are going to do RPGs of the past 10 years or so I'll be able to answer a few :-p

nice.

also, i cant recommend the GBA port of ff6 for commuters enough. New espers, an up to date translation and, most importantly, a quick save option.

FF6 in 45 minute chunks ftw.

I got the Chrono Trigger remake for the DS for Christmas.  It's pretty good, I haven't gotten to the new features yet but hey... it's Chrono Trigger.  I've beaten it 10 times and will probably beat it 10 more.

Now for a question...

In Resident Evil 2, what is the police chief's name?
