Here's a question.  Original NBA Jam, for the arcade, who were the 2 players for the Dallas Mavericks?

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Actually you know what, that I think was what I had it for Sega Genesis.  Not sure if it was different in the arcade...

Derek Harper is correct, but Jim Jackson is not.

I was playing the original arcade game today actually, and would have never guessed this other player even if I had a hundred guesses.

Yeah Jackson must've been for the Genesis version.

Hmmm...Sean Rooks lol?  Wasn't he on them around then?  Otherwise I'd have to look at their roster.

I looked it up and would not have guessed it 100,000,000 guesses.

I thought i was so smart and booted this up on my emulator... then I realized you stipulated the arcade version, so I looked it up.   I cant' believe ANYONE will get this without cheating.  I am not ashamed to say I've never even heard of this player.  Did his uncle work for the NBA Jam team or what?

The thing is, I must have played this game over 100 times on a dozen different arcade machines when it was out, and when you enter your initials for record keeping Dallas is always the first team you play, so anyone who played the original NBA Jam and entered their initials has played against this guy at least once (probably more).  Yet I can't remember ever hearing of this guy either.  When I was playing this the other day, I thought this game must be hacked or something and this is one of the designers because I've never heard of this guy.  Looked him up and it turns out he was a legit NBA player.

Mike Iuzzolino
2nd round draft pick (35th overall) for the Mavs in 1991, played collegiately at Penn State and St. Francis.
Played 2 seasons with the Mavs, 91-92 and 92-93, played 122 total games and averaged 9.0ppg.
He even had a basketball card and everything!

Ah Iuzzilino!!  I remember him- terrific college player, I think he only played a couple years in the league.  Reminded me of Chris Corchiani, just a step-slow for the NBA.

That was prob the year Dallas had the fewest wins in the league or something.
