merry xmas to all.  this year is more special than the usual for me.  my son will be turning 3 in january, and this is his first xmas understanding the whole santa concept.  so im very excited!

lets go celts, beat la!
If you don't have them already, you have to go out and get the old claymation Christmas specials on DVD(Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Year Without a Santa Claus, The Little Drummer Boy and although not claymation, Frosty the Snowman) for the little Sith. My kids, much older than your's, watched those things religiously during the holiday and it never failed to get everyone in the house in a merry mood.

That's fun DL...We always leave milk and cookies out for Santa, then I leave a note saying thanks from Santa in the morning.  I do my best to alter my handwriting but I'm thinking my 6 year will recognize it this year.  Sometimes her being clever is a pain in the neck!

its funny u said that.  i was debating on leaving a note, but figured in the end, that would do me in.

If you haven't taken him to Disneyworld or Disneyland yet, do so while he still is wild about Disney stuff. The place will amaze him.

To my online friends and neighbors ---

May you all have a peaceful and joyous holiday.

May we all also take 1 minute, just 1 minute to think about those who are far less fortunate than all of us.  May we all take a moment to remember those with empty bellies, those who are ill and those who are worried this holiday where their next pay check will come from.  There are so many places that are near to all of you that could use a few cans of food or an unopened tooth brush (just to name 2 items).

Please take a moment to open up your cabinet and grab that can of fruit cocktail or tomato soup and donate to a local parish....and while your at it, that loose change next to your bed could also help.

Thank you and the warmest of wishes.

peace to all.

One more thing........may we all take a moment to wish all those who protect us and keep our families safe peace and safety throughout the holidays and beyond.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Happy Kwanza, and everything else and in between!

I was just filled with Christmas spirit when I realize the game tomorrow is at 5PM ET!!  All along I thought it was 5PM PT (I'm a West Coaster), which is the exact time my big family Christmas dinner was going to start.

I get to watch the entire game, live.... score!!

A huge "Glædelig Jul" to my fellow
CB posters and friends. I celebrated
the first X-mas yesterday with my son
Elias (We celebrate X-mas on the 24th).
It was just a special day and I look
forward to many more as our beautiful
baby grows. It was also the first X-mas
without my father, who died in April.
So yesterday was really quite emotional.

What a season it has been so far. Now all
we need is a win against the Lakers and
our lives will be complete  ;D
The game will be televised in Denmark
so I won't be joining y'all in the game
thread but I want to wish you all a great
game. To the best fans in the world:
HO HO HOOOOOO!

GO CELTICS, BEAT LA!

Happy Christmas to everyone. If you don't celebrate then Happy Hannukah or Happy Holidays. This is a truly magical time of year and I hope each and every one of you has a great day.
