Agggh, the sight of Tony Allen taking a three is just horrific.

F**k it.

I'm sorry, I'm not a pessimist normally but we just can't get stops right now. This makes me sick because this Lakers team isn't even that impressive.

I feel the same way, Kobe's got it going but I feel like we are playing so [dang] flat and its just gonna fuel the media and Laker's fans criticism of us if we lose this game.

Frankly, we're better than they are starters vs. starters.

If it takes a loss to dispel the delusion that this bench is even remotely close to adequate to repeat in the playoffs, so be it.

Also, I am against having the Celtics play marquee games on Christmas. I want to relax today, not get this worked up about a game :)

No free throw attempts?

We're not doing the right things. I just hope to God that Rondo doesn't pick up another foul, the last two possessions have been great. More of the same please!

Rough patch there. 2 problems: Powe/BBD=no backstop. Need one of the K-boys (KG/KP) in there. 2nd--TA +PP+ EH= handles? That's a challenged group in terms of ball control.

Pierce hasn't been aggressive enough attacking Luke Walton.

That said, the Celtics are doing well.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
They called a foul on Pierce for breaking Waltons ankle? Such crap right now.

Really pretty happy to only be six down, with no defensive energy - especially from Perkins - horrific play off the bench and not a lot of offensive aggression.

If I can put in a late Christmas wish to Danny: Length off the bench, a defender and an outside shooter, pal. This bench isn't enough to repeat. They look fine against East Popcorn State, but the Lakers, Cavs et al aren't East Popcorn State.

I guess in a game when you can Powe can get a blocking foul while being ran over, and Fisher can draw a charge moving sideways in the circle, it's normal to have attempted 2 foul shots at half time.

Im suspect.

The Pierce call was probably correct but the charge was a bad call, Fisher moved into the circle before he took the contact from TA. Tony has to stop trying to do his crossover on fastbreaks though, it isn't good enough to justify not passing to the open man.

Frankly, I thought the call was correct and vintage Tony: Bad decisions with the basketball.

All things considered, same here. Horrible second quarter.
