Recap:Hope you all had a very merry and healthy Christmas! (Mine was a lump of coal, thanks to a poorly-timed migraine and an under-staffed ER, but that's life). Well, here we are playing PAPOUG again and watching our beloved Celtics ... I was personally very doubtful that we were going to have
any basketball to watch this season, other than NCAA, thank goodness I was wrong. Seems we don't have a full contingent to start the game this year, but hopefully those missing now will return to us in time, as I'm PM-ing reminders to everyone. Let's maybe run the ad once-or-twice if we can and do a bit of recruiting ... if we all bring at least one new person to the game, it would grow quickly and add to the fun as well.
Our beloved
Celtics lost by a slim margin, (thanks in large part to that biased little imp, Joey Crawford, and an absent Truth). But I think there was a lot of positive to take away from this one just the same ... and it's honestly great to see the Celts/Knick rivalry being re-born, (loved the spat at the end between Ticket and Walker - more of that kind of emotion, please!). Great to see some new-comers already, and my pal
TB starts this game much as she did PAPTBG ... with an opening night victory! She did so with what will probably stay a Top-Ten List score as well ... a big congratulations, my friend! Really great way to start the season! Two TPs paid to
ThirstyBoots18 for the win, (nine owed), one paid to
Misha for the awesome second-place score, and the Doody paid to
ACF.

** Note: When you make your pick, please try to check and make sure you haven't left anyone out ... sometimes when picks are made close together, the previous player is missed. If you see a duplicate pick, or a pick that is injured, or no game that day, please alert the person who made the pick to their mistake. Also, please make sure your pick has played ten games if using this year's stats - some players' teams have played more than ten, but the player hasn't ... you may be selling yourself short. Thank you kindly! ** For those who may not know, to copy any form "cleanly", (so you don't get the green boxes), just click on "Quote", (above, beside "Modify"), remove entire quote sentence at top of message box between [brackets], (starts with "quote", ends with long number, including brackets), remove [/quote] at bottom of message box also, then copy and paste what's left to a new reply, and add your info.
