The question being posed is if a two-time MVP will make the Hall of Fame in a sport where every single one-time MVP eligible for election is in the Hall? Sorry, but Nash is a sure fire, guaranteed, no question about it Hall of Famer. So is Kobe, KG, Duncan, Dirk and any other former league MVP that is still playing or not yet eligible for election. It's just the way this HOF works. And in a sport where only five players are ever on the court at when time, not 6, not 9, not 11, just 5, I think that's a pretty decent philosophy.
