I know its early but this game is over. 18 in a row.

Ironically ( or coincedentally, I'm not sure), I was there when the night they lost their 18th in a row. It was Pierce's first game back from his stress fracture. The Nets crushed them.

18 is one tenth of 180, as in 180 degrees from 2 years ago.

The Celtics are trying for their 18th title this season.

KG has used the MF word 18 times this quarter.
I was 18 when Pierce was drafted.

Are these all coincidences? I 'll let you decide.
I think KG used the MF word 18 times from the time he got off the bench until he made it on the court after Scal fouled out. It sure looked like he wanted the rest of the night off.

What happened with the flagrant/non flagrant?
Rondo had a lay up ahead of the Knicks Robinson shoved him in the back into the seats. No play on the ball at all. Dangerous play in a game that was pretty much over, you have to call that a flagrant.

Robinson pushed Rondo into the seats
behind the basket. Flagrant in my book.

26-2, good folks of CB!
We're tied for best start in league
history and most franchise wins in
a row. To quote Ace Ventura:
"I like it a lot!" It's good to be Green.

26-2 tied for best start in NBA history.

It's good to be a Celtics fan.

I viewed it as Nate swiping at the ball, definitely smacked Rondo's arm and fouled him, but Rondo was trying to sell it and slipped/stumbled out of bounds.

That's they way I saw it too. I missed this push everyone's talking about.

We need to start a poll. ;D

Did anyone else notice how bad Tommy was ripping on Nate Robinson? First when David Lee stuck his rear end out and leveled TA, Tommy called for the C's to take out Robinson.  Then he went crazy when Rondo was on the fast break and Robinson pushed him out of bounds from behind.  He said "nail, nate" and he then stated "if I was playing he would come around a screen and then find a few of his teeth missing".  This is why Tommy is one of my favorite announcers.  He isn't afraid to say anything.

It was definitely a push with his left forearm after swiping with his right. It's pretty easy to see the forceful extension of his left arm and Rondo losing his balance when he pushes him.

Now 20 years ago that is a foul. 10 years ago that's a hard foul. But in today's rules where refs have to judge intention, that's a flagrant because.......well, because it was that PUNK Nate Robinson.

Besides KG started jawing and glaring a little at Nate. He wouldn't have done that if he didn't think the play was cheap.

Has any team in the history of the NBA ever had two 18 game streaks, winning or losing, within a two year period. The better this club gets the more you appreciate just what an unreal and historic win-loss turnaround this has been.
