And yes, he tied DRob last night.

It was nice seeing KG take over a game down the stretch.  I wish he'd do it more often.

I will say the sets they ran in the 4th quarter that gave KG the room, were great.  I'll have to go back and look at it, but the spacing was great, and gave Kevin room to drive to the lane and elevate for the hook.

I also thought PP looked a little tenative on D, maybe thinking about the knee.  He looked fluid on Offense, but not a ton of lift on his J's.  Good effort from a still hurting captain.

There was one point during the game that the commentator (on ESPN) said something along the lines of, "KG is talking and you know that when KG is talking good things will happen".  So true!

Not to hijack the thread but speaking of underappreciated performances, I think Perk's defense in the final minutes and Tony Allen's defense on JJ earlier in the period were critical in this win. Perk had a huge block on in the final minute, and Tony kept JJ from getting into any rhythm in the fourth when they had a real chance to start pulling away.

Was tony even on the court in the 4th? he did nothing to stop JJ

Like I said, underappreciated. Tony played excellent defense on JJ while his namesake was on the bench. I'm not surprised it went unnoticed.

I thought Tony played good defense. His offense left something to be desired.

In that regard, I was wondering, if Posey was still here, who is sitting at the end of that game? Ray, Pose?  Also, why do you think Tony wasn't guarding JJ? Doc doesn't trust him, probably.

Also, if Pierce is healthy, is he on JJ at the end of the game, with his length?

Doc went with his starting five at the end and it was the right move. We needed Ray's ability to spread the floor, and everything else he does, out there more than Tony's defense. I think if Posey was here, the person on the bench would be Perk. To that regard, I'm glad Posey is not here as I think Perk was invaluable down the stretch in this game. That is not to say I don't miss Big-game as much as the next person.

KG has been performing very well in the clutch this year, so I'm happy that this game finally shed some light on it.  Prior to last night he was making big shots and big plays on a consistent basis, but that was maybe the first time that he completely took over the game on offense which is what draws the attention.

It's also been nice to watch KG continue to slowly ramp up his quality of play.  Each month he seems to turn it up another notch, so hopefully by the end of the season he'll be reaching a peak (as opposed to last season, when he came out the gate like gangbusters then seemed to be consciously trying to reign himself in over the course of the season).

Anyone else notice the jawing and taunting he was doing to someone in the crowd? It doesnt personally bother me, but as we all know theres been alot of complaining around the web about KG, and even the league supposedly has been keeping a closer eye on him for his "antics" ..
Allen Iverson just got fined for comments towards a fan, so what do you think, KG gonna be fined?
I didn't really notice this, but late in the game, in a time-out KG was talking up a storm. It didn't seem to be directed at anyone, but, I believe, Mike Gorman said he was problably talking to himself.

When the KG rumors were flying a few years ago I said I wouldn't trade Al Jeff for KG straight up. I thought KG shied away from taking big shots and that I didn't like him playing away from the basket; whereas, Big Al was the reincarnation of Kevin McHale. Guess I was a bit wrong. Anyway, this year I see KG taking those shots and also he's attacking the basket more. I think this is a result of his being more comfortable on the team and understanding that taking these shots is not being selfish.
