Gabe Pruitt a poor man's Eddie House? So a poor man's journeyman?
That means he'll probably be playing in Europe at some point.
That's all I've been trying to say whilst being trolled. TP.
The guy might not be in the NBA by the time the trade deadline comes around. If PJ comes back or if we sign a guy like Mutumbo... or even Marbury... Pruitt will be one of the most likely to be cut.
id rather the calcifing fossil on the end of the bench assume his assitant coaching duties earlier than planned.
you mean decrepit mutumbno?
Have you watched Mutombo playing last season? For example, when Yao went down with injury and they went in that long winning streak the C's eventually broke?
2007–08 Houston 39 25 15.9 .538 .000 .711 5.1 .1 .3 1.2 3.0
Pretty underwhelming to me.
Scola and Landry had pretty effective showings, though.
Also Houston's schedule was very weak during their win streak (8 teams out of 22 above .500).
You clearly haven't watched him.
Even if you want to go with stats, check his numbers post Yao-injury:
March: 20.3 minutes, 3.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 59.4 FG%
April: 20, 6.2, 6.2, 60.6%
As a starter, he averaged 6/6 and 1.76 shot-blocks in 20 minutes and .575 FG% in 25 games.
When he was on court, Houston's defense was better by 2.1 points per 100 possessions, and their FG% allowed went down by 1.8%. Their rebound was also improved when he was on the floor.
And a 22 winning streak in the NBA is always impressive, no matter the strenght of the schedule. That's why it doesn't happen a lot.
