I'm in a "survivor" type football pool that started with 120 people and it down to 6. You're allowed 3 strikes instead of just 1. I have 2 strikes, so I have no margin for error. The hypothetical pot is pretty decent and it would be hypothetically useful to win this thing.
I have two decent picks to make this week and can't decide which to do.
I can take either the Saints at Detroit, or Philly at Washington.
Right now the Saints are the bigger favorite, but I feel like Philly is the better team.
I've done well by picking against Detroit when possible of late, but they gave Indy a game last week. Do they have a battle left in them? The Saints are 1-6 on the road.
Philly on the other hand seems hot, but they laid an egg against Cincy (toes count as losses). They're on the road against a divisional rival. The Skins have looked to be roadkill lately, but do I trust them to lay down and let Philly run rampant over them?
What to do?
I think I'm leaning towards Philly.
Thoughts?
Convince me.
