Have any young guys complained about minutes under Doc?

No, because KG would make thema crying mess.

The Laker's still don't know that there's no I in team.

for being such a dumbarse. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/55947/20081212/bynum_wants_to_be_in_games_at_the_end/

Phil's response was a nice, direct dose of reality.  Hopefully Bynum won't notice (or better yet, will let it bruise his ego).

Bynum is right, he should be on the court late in games. Bynum needs to be playing more minutes too.

I dont wanna jinx, but right now all that "who's better, Bynum or Jefferson" discussion is looking pretty weak.

I have always said that Bynum's game is dunking (like Howard) while Jefferson's game is finesse around the basket (his 1000 moves when 5-8' away from the basket).  I'll take finesse over dunking anytime.

I really like that Phil Jackson isn't playing Bynum down the stretch. It shows us that Bynum isn't the kind of guy that can put the Lakers above us. We've proven the Lakers aren't tough enough to beat us with their current closing lineup and they won't be ready to beat us until Bynum can be trusted down the stretch. That doesn't appear to be anytime soon.

Definitely. They are not as good as us or even Cleveland.

Bynum just looks like a confused oaf on the court, cant stand the kid...I wish we could revert the NBA to 80's standards for Xmas and watch Perk elbow him right in the face.

Right now I kinda see him as a guy that will make it all the easier for Pierce to get to the line at will.

Confused oaf?  Do you watch Perk at all?
God bless and good night!

Perk is only confused because he doesn't understand how KG can be angrier than him.

Uh, Perk may look like an oaf, but he isnt confused, and is a smarter player especially defensivly than Bonehead Bynum

Let's be real, guys. We love Perk but would trade him in a NY minute for Bynum. Bynum is far more talented.

I mean pre-KG, when we had young guys.

I don't think people are criticizing his talent. They are talking about his contribution toward his team winning. They are also not talking about contributions toward fantasy teams winning.

I don't think there's an argument to be made for Perk being more valuable than Bynum, but I also think some are too cynical about Perk. Watch national broadcasts. Former player commentators and coaches respect him now after his contributions last year and his improvements this year.

He is also generally considered an excellent team defender, so I don't think anyone should be calling him an oaf.
