First of all do we have roster space? I know we assigned Giddens to d league. Stephon would come off the bench perfectly for rondo!!

I feels as though he's begging for a fresh starts and i'd be willing to give him one

We have 15 players under contract, which is the maximum. Giddens and Walker are in the D-League, but that doesn't count. So we would have to waive a player.

NO NEIN NYET No Way Jose!

We do not need the Marbury traveling circus messing up our chemistry both on and off the court. No only would he have problems as a sometime backup, but he is death on ball movement too and when that happens our offense goes down the tube. Let's not even bother discussing his non-existent defense.

Our bench is playing good ball right now. Don't mess with it.

you honestly think marbury, a player who consideres himself one of the elite PG's in the game and is a team cancer is going to be ok backing up a 22 year old?

He would be yapping about starting 5 minutes after rondo's first non-double double.

conbine that with the fact that he's not really that good anymore, and i fail to see why we should shake up our team chemistry be adding a player who alinates his teamates and clashes with everyone for a questionable upgrade at backup PG.

I don't want anybody with the nickname Cancerbury on our team.

I would go for him if I thought we needed another pg, but I think we need size more than we need another point guard.  Hopefully Joe Smith gets bought out and wants to play for Boston.

A few weeks ago I had this crazy thought.. maybe Boston should sign Marbury if he's bought out.  I mean on a team full of veteran stars there is no way that he could cause a distraction and if he did they could release him in a heart beat.  But over the past few weeks he proved to me he'll never fall in line even on Boston.  I say pass even though he could provide a spark off the bench in certain situations.  I'm all for 2nd chances but, like Alfred said in the Dark Knight

2nd chances are fine, but i think marbury is looking for his 200th chance.

TP4U. I've never heard that one before.

The Cancerbury Tales - a group of traveling basketball players amuse themselves while on a pilgrimage from New York to visit the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This traveling troop each tells a different story of a bawdy young man who did everything in his power to wreak havoc upon a basketball franchise.

Sounds like a classic that will live on for centuries to come.

That is great stuff. TP for a legitimate Chaucer reference to the Knicks.

Absolutely not! This guy is a team wrecker. If we need anything it is a bigger 2-3. TA is just not big enough to guard threes. I am fine with Powe and BBD at the smaller big spot. It would be nice to have PJ come back for the stretch run again.

Why are the reporters claiming that Celtics are one of the teams interested in acquiring Marbury? There has to be some truth in it right? Personally, I'd love to have him. now that he doesn't get along with Q richardson and the rest of the knicks, i'm sure he'd love to play with pierce against the knicks.

Yeah, let's sign him just before the next Knicks game, let him get into a scuffle, and then cut him.

Otherwise, he has no place on this team. We're doing just fine.
