I wrote you,
And told you,
You were the biggest fish out here,
You should have never gone to Hollywood.

They take you,
And make you,
They look at you in disgusting ways,
You should have never trusted Hollywood.

From David Thorpe's chat.  Am I missing something here because don't the Celtics lead the league in opponents PPG and opponents FG%.

Eric (DEE-TROIT): Hi David - I see the ESPN lovefest for the Lakers has begun early this year. Somewhat understandable seeing how dominant they have been in the no D West. Unfortunately it looks like it is all for not again. Playoffs are about Defense and matchups and the Celtics are too strong for the Lakers. Don't waste my time with the canned ESPN response - Posey & Bynum. Tony Allen is playing better on both sides than Posey and see last years matchups when Bynum did play against the Celtics for the Bynum effect argument. Bottom line, only thing stopping Boston from a repeat is an injury to one of the Big 3 or Cleveland (who actually can matchup with size and strength). I guess the "experts" at ESPN will have to wait and see this again.

SportsNation David Thorpe: (12:20 PM ET ) Eric, last year Boston was the #1 team on d all season, and it showed come playoff time. Guess who the #1 defensive team is right now? Oops, sorry about that. Give the lake show some props-they are demons on d.

He answered a follow up.  Lakers lead the league in defensive efficiency (one of Hollinger's stats that I don't understand) at 93.9.  Celtics are in second with 94.2.  Call off the parade ::)

I just see an actor who has never quite broken through.
Sort of like Kobe without Shaq.
Celtics fan for life.

How about some TP's for Billy Crystal
for sticking with the Clippers?
Despite his "tenure" with the Yankees  ;)

See I like Mark Wahlberg, and I loved his role in The Departed. Got no problem with him at all even if he is a backstabbing ****
