I think that this is going to be something that a lot of sports fans around the world will actually watch over anything else. There are teams that stand out as the best in each decade, and with these two teams it's like having two titanic teams that it's almost wrong to have them playing in the same era. Look for this game to go down as one of the most physical and brutally fought knock down drag out games in awhile.
I don't know who will be left standing at the end of the day. I think at the end of the game it may come down to the fact that the Lakers have Kobe and the Celtics don't. One thing is for sure, I'm not missing this one.
This is the number one reason I hate Lakers fans. Number one in this case being not some obscure number but the biggest factor in my despising the lakers more than any other team in the National Basketball Association.

You don't know who will probably be left standing? You have no idea, huh? Allow me to bring up the freaking NBA Finals of 2008. There were SIX games! SIX with variation on home court advantage, variation of time, announcers, and even referees! HOWEVER, in every single one of those games one of the freaking constants was that the Lakers
had Kobe and the Celtics did
NOT have Kobe. Miraculously, against every apparent law of nature and logic, the Lakers did not win every single one of those games! In fact, they only won TWO out of the six, and the lowly Kobe-less Celtics managed to take FOUR!
Man I cannot stand that point of view. Could the Lakers Celtics game on christmas be decided by a healthy Andrew Bynum being the missing piece to the series? Maybe. Could each teams' state of mind be a factor? Sure! Could Phil Jackson introduce an amazing innovation of coaching that will change the direction the world spins on its axis? Why not?
But saying the game will come down to the fact that the Lakers have Kobe Bean Bryant and the Celtics,
by contrast, do not have Kobe Bean Bryant is utterly stupid. A lot of Lakers fans think this way and it drives me nuts. Kobe isn't a god, he's just a very good very competitive basketball player. A lot like Finals MVP Paul Pierce.
