  • The good ole days.

And I absolutely love the below image.... If you ever wondered what a lifetime of wanting, 13 years of criticism, and countless amounts of sweat being lifted from your shoulders feels like...

(could only attach it.... will upload picture when I get home)

"It ain't about me.  It's about us."  - KG, interview with John Thompson, 2005 All Star Game.

A friend recently took this picture on a trip to NY, and I'm not sure if it's inspirational or not but it definitely got me thinking. Some family is moving to NY next year, my brother is marrying a New Yorker and will move there. Chances are I'll follow suit, so for me personally, this image certainly got me thinking about a lot of things:

I always loved this one; of course, it was better punctuating a career, so before he went back with the Wizards. This one is a little small, but I used to have a 2-pg version that they published in ESPN the Magazine on my wall, and looking at the faces of the fans is amazing. They all know what's happening, and most of them want to pummel Bryon Russell.

Tnerb, what inspiration could you possibly get from a picture of Rosie O'Donnell?

Remarkable, improbable, incredible, unbelievable, inconceivable, unimaginable and inspiring.

Call me weird but when the Captain walks in and sings I find it the most powerful moment I've ever seen in a film and it makes me cry every time. I used to not be that way.

Then again when they cross the mountains into Switzerland when they sing "Climb every mountain". It just made me think a couple of 3 - 10 year olds could beat the Nazis if they really had to

Not an inspirational image in the traditional sense, but it definitely made me stop and think, and made me realize how much each second counts…

This was last December in San Diego, when a man lost his wife, two kids, and mother-in-law when a fighter jet crashed into his house seconds after flying past a school (bottom) but before it could make it to the runway at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar (at the top of the picture).
