I've always found this humbling and belittling and it always inspired me to learn more and ask why?

Those are my two of my most inspirational images.

The other three are portraits of each one of my kids.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.

Clearly you need to bring back your "I love my kids - Call me a sap, but it's true." Signature  ;)
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

The Police did a video montage of still photos of children from around the world.  They showed it in their concert tour during "Invisible Sun".  It's hard not to get the full range of emotions when looking into the eyes of children.  A lot of the most inspirational photos to me are just such - the hope of a child.

I see it when I look in my own children's eyes.

Actually, that was the signature I used on SSF 2.0, thanks for remembering its meaning - I am sure Nick (and everyone else for that matter) shares the sentiments about their kids.

So beautiful, yet so fragile. The atmosphere. The oceans. The land. The ice sheets. All of it. We need to realize that this is our only home (Mars is out of the picture for now). Let's take care of it. We've destroyed so much of it in such a short period of time. Are we unable to think about the future? Or do we assume that we'll be able to deal with the problems as they arise?

You can never go wrong with the Normandy landing (props, nickagneta)

I am personally inspired by the heroic guts and determination of Mickey Ward and Arturo Gatti in round 9 of their first fight, seen here:

When I was really sick once, someone sent me a card with this picture on it.  I always found this image really comforting.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

I don't know if I could sleep with someone lurking over me like that - angel or not ;)   I know you're here to protect me and all but can't you do it a little farther away and turn off the light.
