Celtic posted a you tube video on the SOT OT that made me think.

What's the most inspirational image I've ever seen.  Immediately one image came to mind, the one posted below.  I was a junior in college when this happened and to this day its seared in my brain.

What image (non-family related) made you stop and take notice?

When I saw this thread, I thought MLK, but there's no specific image that inspired me of MLK, rather the man himself.

My image is an image that reverts your mind back to the moment the Earth literally stood still. A tragedy that came out of the blue and impacted the lives of millions. The following image represents the hope that arose from that tragedy in the sense that we may take a hit, but there's a light somewhere down the road.

Pretty much anything from there.  I've gotten the chance to cover 2 Paralympic Games live, and they've both been phenomenal - these photos don't really convey the sense you get when you see it live.  After the initial shock, you don't even realize disabilities any more, just athletes.  An amazing tribute to the spirit of competition.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

This guy's my motivation in everything that I want in life, every time I look at this (on my wall) it makes me want to work that much harder. I'm equally selfish as well, haha, sorry to break up the purity of this thread.

Yup.  I own Murderball, and I think it's a great movie.  If not for March of the Penguins it would have won the Oscar for Best Documentary.  I was actually in Athens in 2004 and got to see a few games and even talk to Joe Soares (Canadian coach) without knowing any of the back story of his rivalry with the US team.  We talked about living in Rhode Island for a while and he came off as a nice enough guy, a little intense, but someone that carries himself with a great deal of respect.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see any of the medal round games, but it was still very fun to watch.  I'm always disappointed that the Paralympics get no media coverage.  What they do is amazing.
