I wonder if Scal playing last night was a message or was it that he is truly their best option at the 3. Has Doc concluded after watching 10% of the season go by that Tony Allen is best suited backing up Ray Allen and only Ray Allen? Is Tony hurt? Why is Scal suddenly playing the backup three?
He played well last night. No, he played great last night. He played better than every single bench player played, except for Eddie's last two games, than anyone else has off the bench.
We now have 4 games in a row where Tony, Baby, and Leon have been virtual non-factors. If the message Doc needs to send these young guys is play consistently or I'll find someone who will, then so be it.
In the mean time, Scal's pretty fly for a white guy.
