drafted by four different teams??  How is that possible?  I know he played for a few different teams.

Toronto, Minnesota, I think NY, cant remember others.

Four different teams in three different sports.

He played basketball at University of Minnesota, so maybe a Midwest team?  Team tended to draft a lot of regional players back then.  Detroit Pistons?

Hint- The NBA team's logo is similiar to a great MLB baseball player's (who played for Boston) nickname?

Winfield was drafted in the NBA and ABA (also by a minor league hockey team as a publicity stunt).  But grrr, the teams are aluding me at the moment, was it Virgina Squires and Atlanta Hawks?

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Another hint- He was a great college basketball player in the early 70's. And a pro basketball team coached by Bill Sharman drafted him.
