  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Kendrick Brown, Orien Greene, your pee-stained Al jefferson jersey you still wear for good luck during the playoffs.

Wait...that last one was me.

I know its all in good fun, but does this "weeding out bandwagon fans" thing rub anyone else the wrong way?

Personally, I like the fact that the Celtics are relevant again.  Yes, it makes the championship that much sweeter for me, because I had stuck with them through the rough times, but I welcome anyone who wants to join in the celebration.

Yeh IP, that last one might be a sign that it's time to momentarily hop off the bandwagon, take a breather, then hop back on refreshed (and well laundered) ;D

I can't believe how many scrubs played for the Celts over the years that I thought would be really good.  I can't believe that some of these guys aren't even in the league anymore.

a bit, yea.

I've never really understood this need for longer term fans to poop on people who are just getting into it to make themselves feel superior.

I love the boston celtics, thats all i need to know. if you love them too, great. if you just came on board, welcome to the frat, but i don't see the need to assure people im a "better" fan because i watched when they sucked.

You got it wrong, Chris.
It's "seeding", not weeding.
There's a tiny difference  ;)

On a more serious note, I agree
with what you're saying. But I
think those so-called bandwagoners
do not spend a lot of time around
CelticsBlog, so I guess it's okay.
