He attacks the rim pretty hard but he still doesn't know how to create space for himself. It was pretty sick when when he tried to dunk over that guy to win the game but the next possesion he dribbled right into the defender's lap. Bill's also pretty good at defense. I think tonight he has a chance to prove his worth. Regardless he might be the 2nd round steal of this draft if not the entire thing.

JR is prolly not going to make the 12-man active roster. He still looks nervous on offense despite 5 pints and he had that airball that landed in Vermont.

Tony Allen also has chance to prove he's the 6th man for the team. He played really good defense on Lebron for like 4-5 minutes despite the size difference. He also passed the ball and had pretty good handle.

Come on dude. D-League? Scal and Miles are going to force him to the D-League?

Miles isn't even active for the first 10 games.

Bill walker is a better player then scal who is 10 yrs older then him if anyone should be in the D-League it should be scal. Walker has been turning heads, while scal makes people shake their heads. I think they'd send Giddens before Walker and even Giddens is a stretch.
True Celtic = Leon Powe

Bring back the show!!!!

I hope we keep bill walker around this season, hes going to have a lot of highlights and hes going to embarass some people.Hes a tone setter when he comes in always looking for the basket when he has the ball.
Good rebounder,Very good free throw shooter.
made a rookie mistake trying to do too much late in the game last night.
I Think he would fit in great with the 2nd team.
He would be a D league all star,we already know this.

After last nights game I really have a hard time seeing Darius Miles making the team.  That would take the roster down to 15.

Of all the rookies, JR Giddens has been the least impressive and seems to need the most help.  My prediction is that Giddens ends up in the D-League.

Scal wont dress, and from what we've seen of Cassell in the practices on NBA TV, he might not be dressing either.

I have a feeling Cassell will be a player/assistant coach this year that'll only dress if he has too.

If all that happens, it leaves a spot for Bill Walker on the active 12 man roster.  I have a feeling he might only play in garbage time, but i think he'll make it.

.....on a side note.  Watching Bill Walker reminds me so much of watching TA in his rookie season with the huge dunks, and big dunking putbacks off a miss.

Walker is sticking and is going to get minutes probably in the teens.
He has a good grasp of the game on both ends of the court.

He'd better stop the sound effects on the dunks or somebody is going to take him out.  He's a rookie second rounder.

Good chance Giddens and (if he makes the team) Pruitt will be in the D-league.

Maybe if he didn't have so many pints he wouldn't have shot an airball =)

I think Walker is going to stay on the active roster and contribute.  I don't think he needs the d league.  Whereas Pruitt and Giddens are works in progress, I think Walker already knows how to play.  He seems very poised out there, kind of like Gomes was as a rookie.

Good rebounder,Very good free throw shooter.

Walker absolutely stays with the team...this boards get so ridiculous though with young players, people just throw stuff out there - where is the proof that he is a "very good free throw shooter" he shot 73% in college and was a 30% three point shooter. Did we decide he was a very good ft shooter b/c he shot well last night? PP missed two the other night, he must be a terrible free throw shooter.

What we know about walker is, he is a physical beast that plays aggresively on O and is still developing. But I would say it is fairly obvious that he goes out their with the intent (and more importantly) the ability to make things happen plus he has shown some things that would make you think he has a good feel for the game. Some of the ways he has found position/day light around the basket in the first two games etc. I dont see how he would ever be D league before Giddens.

Miles & Scal have looked terrible

It helps a great deal to have played the game. But playing knowledge doesn't directly translate to knowledge as a fan or a coach.  There's too much evidence out there on that point that it's beyond serious discussion.
