Walker will make the team.  He has shown an understanding and determination to make things happen on both ends.  Yes, he makes mistakes, but that is to be expected.  He will develop even better under the tutelage of our veterans.. (especially KG).

Also, he seems like a very coachable player.  I have heard a couple interviews and he seems like a very intelligent guy who wants to become  a premier player... whether or not that happens is yet to be seen.

I have a tough time swallowing they send Pruitt back to the D- league.

D.Miles... who I was so excited for, has had a very tough time out there.  I want him to make it but he legitimatley looks like he is in pain out there.  I'm not sure if his legs are up to it.

Walker will make it... even in 2 preseason games he is creating a buzz... and the rest of the team seems to love him.

*ps... Scals has been sucking bigtime lately... he looks like a lost boy in a men's pickup game.  I used to defend him because peeps tend to give him bum deal.. but he has been playing like a bum lately.  Poor scals.

PPS:

Has anyone else been really impressed with Patrick O'Bryant?  I think he is the most promising out of the bunch.

I expect CoachBo is particularly impressed.  (Just teasing, CB.)

It's still early, but I think right now, Walker has the inside track on the backup SF minutes.  He still has some learning to do, but he has shown he can give this team quality minutes.

Bill Walker certainly makes a lot more sense than Tony Allen at the backup SF spot. Love Tony, but he's barely 6'3". Leave him at the two guard please.

Recent Cleveland game recap had Doc chewing his butt and reminding him that we dont take breaks on the floor on this team. Hope that sinks in, all that talent and effort will mean nothing if he start acting (Blunt) lazy. We are better off with Scal backing up Perk than putting up with that kind of junk. 8)
