Anyone else read this?

I look forward to seeing more prospects go to Europe to get paid while working toward NBA. Still, I don't expect many players who can get required SAT scores to take that route unless they are really hard up for cash.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
its a good article...I think that Europe would be better for young guys than many would imagine. In college these guys are worshipped like gods...I imagine they're still celebrities in europe, but not being able to speak the language, having the regimen that follows with a professional team, it might really help them separate basketball not only as a game, but as a job. Also help them because when they go out, they'll be separated, not only by language but by culture. Help them build a healthy social life, not a destructive one.

Thats purely a guess though, could be wrong on all accounts.

Incredibly bizarre message by Stern in that article.

He's right.  But what a slap across the face to collegiate basketball.
