Tattoo Ideas ?

I want to get a Celtics tattoo to commerate last years championship. I finally have an appt with a great artist but am having a tough time picking the right image. So far I was thinking the 2008 banner with the words "faith rewarded" underneath it. Any artist have ideas for me.... 10 Tommy Points for a used design/idea.

How about something like your sig in fancy writing underneath a banner or the Larry O'Brien trophy?

Or perhaps a quote from this previous year, one of my favorites is: "It's amazing what you can accomplish when no one cares about who takes the credit" - Kevin Garnett.

You probably have something else in mind, but thought I'd weigh in because I'm a nice guy.

Get a picture of Dino holding the trophy.  Too bad it's not a cup, then he could drink out of it. 

Tattoos are tough man.  I would figure out what you want before you get an appointment. 

If it were me though, I would maybe take the red autograph and incorporate it with a trophy.

In seriousness...

If you get Red smoking, you can have the cigar smoke go up and wrap around. Maybe a clouds surrounding Red, but I'm not sure how that would work.

Stay away from writing, if at all possible. I always think tattoos that say what they need to say with images are a lot cooler.

I think just a three leaf clover (like the back of the jersey) with "celtics" in a concave arc above it and all the years they've won so far in your life time underneath. That would be pretty cool.

I've been thinking about getting a celts tat also.  I'm not sure if it would be corny, but since i've been living and breathing the celts since the early 80's I think it would be appropriate.  I was thinking about the clover with the word celtics, but maybe it would be too generic?  That pic of the evil leprechaun actually looks great!  I love it, and its not generic.  I'd consider a variation of that, maybe with "celtic pride" or just the word celtics under it.

I have been thinking about getting a celtic tattoo as well, the idea i was thinking about was the leprechaun logo but smoking a cigar instead of a pipe in honor of Red, and around the feet would be 17 clovers for the 17 championships then i could add more when the continue to win more.

get one that says "2008 NBA Champions" With a Lakers Logo, then under it, in really big letters, put "NOT!"

If you cant think of one you want, dont get one.  If you take someone's idea because it is the 'best' one, you may regret your decision.  wait till there is something you definitely want.
