47, missing Montana and the Dakotas.
Funny how several of us have hit all but the same couple of states.  I've missed the same three plus Hawaii and Alaska.

Drove cross country and back this summer....Montana is a MUST SEE!!!

At the North is Glacier Natl Park...in the South is Yellowstone....no doubt why it's called Big Sky

Have not been to Mississippi. Alabama, Alaska or Hawaii

Luckily, I've been to most of the Eastern states. All of the New England states (except Maine). I've been to New York, Georgia, Virgina, both NC and SC, and I've took a trip to Florida. So yea, 11, I've been to 11 of the 50 states. I have to do more traveling though.

28 for me.

Best--- Anywhere in New England

Worst---Alabama

Best place to be in Alabama?

Right in the middle.

Why?

No matter which way you go, you're leaving.

TP, I have family in Texas, and have driven their many times from Boston, and every time I do, Alabama is always my least favorite part. I don't know what it is but that state, just rubs me the wrong way.

Haha good ol' North Dakota doesnt seem to be in many people's travel plans.  Tell you what, swing over to Fargo and I'll let any of you crash on my couch.  That'll be one more state off of your lists.

I've been to:
ND,SD,WI,IA,IL,MT,ID,UT,NV,AZ,CA,MO,AR,LA,AL,MS,FL,TN,KT,KN,NB,WY

And for our Canadian friends, I've been to: Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and BC.

And I've been to Tijuana.

That is all.

By age 23 I had gone to all but Alaska, ND, Maine, Hawaii. I am 49 recently and have still missed Alaska, ND and Maine. Best states: Washington, Hawaii, Wisconsin. Worst: New Mexico. I have no idea what the slamming of Alabama is all about but maybe you were never actually there on the water or there instead of Boston in the winter.

Surprisingly good places have to be Oklahoma, Arkansas though its a shared area in ne Ark.

lots of places are so so but have their own charm and are clearly two steps worse than the best 3 of Hawaii, Wa and Wi: Penn, Oh, Mass, Mi, SD, Iowa etc. the best few after the top 3 are probably two i haven't see, Alaska and Maine and then Ca, New Hampshire, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, Oregon, Idaho. Incredibly overrated has to be the entire North East except for new hampshire and mass.

I've been to 33 states.  I live in Alabama, been here for nearly seven years.  I've found it one of the more beautiful states.  From my deck I look at a national forest and the end of the Appalachians. Not far from the Gulf Coast, warm, turquoise waters; easy access to several good sized cities, and nice weather.  Can golf year round, and nearly all the women like sports. And after taxes my take home pay is higher than it would be if I lived in the Northeast or just about anywhere else.

One of my best friends got stationed in Alabama for six months...he was only asked two questions: Tigers or Crimson Tide, and "whos your driver"

Thats why Alabama kinda stinks..no legit professional teams
