I can't wait for the game to come out, does anyone know what the Celtic Default roster looks like in the game?

dunno, but they better give rondo a boast. NBA live 09 rates him one point better than pruitt at a 71.

I would think, given his vast improvement from his rookie year, that he should be in the low 80's in NBA2k9. They generaly do pretty good ratings.

as for playing with the celtics, i honestly probley won't. I tend to pick either a crappy team and build them up or do a fantasy draft with the celtics.

Vujacic has a rating of 83 on 2K9. Rondo should top that, if not, I'll be annoyed. As for the game, I need a next gen console (PS3) first before I even get pumped to play it.

Looking forward to going round to a friends to destroy them though.

Vujacic has an 80, Rondo is an 83.

Either way, that's ridiculous. Vujacic is tall and he can shoot. Nothing more or less. I say 75 overall for him.

But yeah, I am absolutely dying for this game. I put a copy on reserve over a month ago, and I'm counting down the days (8 to go... which means 9 until preseason starts).

I'm not gonna lie. Once I get this game, I go ALL out. ;D

83 sounds good for rondo, but yea, 80 for sasha? for what?

most spot up snipers in the game grade out in the mid 70's at best.

I spend a frightening amount of time thinking about NBA 2k9. I actually just changed my fantasy draft to be the day of the release so it could be an uber basketball nerd day for me.

Yeah, it doesn't make any sense. Vujacic is an 80, yet Eddie House is where he should be in the low-to-mid 70's. I think he's 74.

Oh wait, I know why it's like that. Because 2k's headquarters is in California.

Does anyone have a recommendation on whether 2k9 or NBA Live '09 is going to be better on the Wii?  I know a lot of people have their preferences for some of the other systems, but I haven't heard much for the wii.

Yeah. As much as I love 2k... and I mean love... I have one major gripe this year: their ratings. Their three-point ratings, for example, are ridiculous. Peja's is 99, Nash's is 97, Raja Bell's is 96, Baron Davis' is 95, etc. Those must be lowered.

They also have some other whacked out ratings. For example, Malik Allen is 75 overall while Rodney Stuckey is 74. Chris Quinn is 76 while Kyle Lowry is 71.

Amare Stoudemire's post defense grade: A. Al Jefferson's? B. Kendrick Perkins? C+.

With all of that said, it's all easily adjustable. If you're an online player, they'll be shelling out constant updates (and they'll even add new animations as the season progresses). If you're strictly an offline player, like me, you can manually adjust the ratings (and even fix incorrect contracts) to whatever you like.
