I'm developing this theory. I was watching an interview with KG after his first practice, and I think ever since his chat with John Thompson and then Bill Russell, reporters are trying to make him cry. .
Some lady asked him a question like:
"Kevin, how did it feel, to be back out there? You must have missed it a lot. I bet it was hard, your teammates trying desperately to struggle through the playoffs, holding out hope that maybe, maybe their leader, Kevin Garnett would come back and help them, just when they needed him most.
They fell in seven games Kevin, without you, they just weren't strong enough. You let them all down, Kevin, just like you let down Ronnie, when he fell down that well. I know you were only six then, but if you could've just tried harder, maybe you could have saved him. So tell me Kevin, how did it feel to be back out there again?"
KG did all he could not to tear up.
Ok, maybe it wasn't that bad, but seriously, does everything have to be about "KG's intensity"? Can't someone ask the guy about the screen and roll or something?
