It's impressive how this guy manages to go through such a lengthy interview without taking any kind of serious personal responsibility for what happened to him and to the Knicks. Sure he was wise enough to not thrown anyone under the bus, but come on... a good soul and teammate was everything he ever was during his entire career? In such severe cases, I just don't buy redemption without contrition.

First off, The C's don't need a PG. They have Rondo, House, Pruitt, and maybe Cassell.

Second, does Starbury really mean he'll willing come off the bench? Of course he's going to say that, most players aren't dumb enough to say publicly that they demand to start.

Third, The C's have enough knuckleheads and low risk high reward type players. If anything, Boston needs some reliable vets at the Center and SF position.

Please don't sign him, Danny. I'd take Sam over him in a heartbeat.

What a differnce a contract year makes aye?

If Marbury holds true to the spoken words in that interview, then i would love to have him here, im not going to kid my self, he is a great scoring pointguard and if we were to sign him and we were in the twilightzone where up is down and down is up and marbury was a great teammate and willing to come off the bench then i would take him in a heartbeat.

Alas thats alot of if's and i doubt reverseland is easy to find so this is not likely.

Marbury is going to be a playing Knick next season, i simply cant see it going any other way, as stupid as the Knicks might be, i doubt they are dumb enough to throw away 20million dollers.

I believe him that he had permission to leave the team last season. He's in a rough spot, he's become a whipping boy, and the only thing america loves more than a redemption story is an execution. He's got a very strong sense (dellusion) of himself, and that's admirable, in a twisted kinda way.

Just start watching at 8 mins tho...Marbury throws everyone but marbury under the bus..Im surprised he didn't blame the parking attendant guy...

I really hope he proves the world wrong and excels, but I pray its not in green...he'd look about right in Miami.

EDIT: Watch out around 4 mins to go....here comes the crazy...

Adding Marbury would be a risk, but he would be an excellent combo guard off the bench. At a min. contract he could always be cut. Nothing cures all ills like winning. I don't even think this is going to be an issue because I think NY will keep him.
