However it is not a cockroach at all and most certainly carnivorous (based on the shape and curve of the mandible), possibly parasitic. He said you probably caught it by surprise and try waking up around 2am and quickly hitting the lights in your bedroom. Your bedroll should be covered with them. Also he said wash all your cloths and possibly burn your bedding, unless you're ok with the house (and body) guests.
